Taste of Life: Fresh Pear Salad with Asian Dressing

Pear Salad

Ingredients
2 cups of red cabbage, shredded
2 cups of romaine lettuce, torn
cup carrots, chopped
3 pears, sliced
1 green onion, chopped
Sesame seeds, toasted

Procedure
Combine all salad ingredients in a large bowl or platter.

 

 

 

Asian Dressing

Ingredients
cup vegetable oil
4 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
4 teaspoons sugar
teaspoon sesame oil
teaspoon crushed red pepper

Procedure
Combine all dressing ingredients and whisk together.
Pour over salad and serve immediately.
