Robert Osborne was selected as the recipient of the 2015 Glenn A. and Melinda W. Adams National Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year Award for the Atlanta Area Council. This award is given by the National Eagle Scout Association. Robert was presented the award at the Atlanta Area Council Eagle Scout recognition ceremony, held at the Buckhead Theater on June 28. Roberts project benefitted the Roswell Historical Society and involved the restoration of the citys historical markers and the creation of an informational brochure with walking tours of the citys historic sites. Robert also established a geocache for a unique and interesting way to learn about Roswells history. The geocache Tour of Roswell takes participants to many of the citys historic sites. Robert is a 2015 graduate of Roswell High School and is currently attending the University of Alabama, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He earned his Eagle Scout as a member of Troop 356, sponsored by Fellowship Christian Church in Roswell.
