Cherokee High School healthcare science students are benefitting from a new donation from Northside Hospital-Cherokee.

The hospital, a CCSD Partner, has made numerous donations to the schools Career Pathways Healthcare Science program, through which students can earn Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licenses. The latest donation is a neonatal incubator, which program instructor, Dianne Argonis-Basto, said will be very beneficial in teaching the students, many of whom aspire to pursue additional certification and degrees to become nurses and doctors.

We are so fortunate to have a great partner with Northside Hospital-Cherokee, Ms. Argonis-Basto said.
